FWIW, re #ReadingFC and Category One status for the academy, Rob Couhig was very clear in this week's edition of Royal Crest: "The goal remains the same: to maintain and strengthen our Category One status while creating a more disciplined and sustainable pathway for young players." Whether Reading actually retain Cat1 in practice is another matter, but that's the official stance for the club to be judged on.

A few of today’s changes: • More work on realistic league tables and title races • Missing players like Wilfred Bony, Alvaro Negredo and Ivan Toney’s missing 2022/23 season added • Huge batch of position fixes, especially for 90s players (thank you for all those who help with those) • Mobile UI improvements across the draft and simulation screens Also fixed names like Le Tissier, Di Canio and van der Sar all being unable to keep their surnames together.
