Some people claim they don't 'get' art. Sometimes I'd agree and I fear this may be one of those times. I feel that our delicate and nuanced message may be lost in the complexity of this work. I guess that's up to the viewer to decide.

The eyes have it
Just look at the sheer terror in those eyes. There’s only one thing that can bring on such existential dread in the modern human - a dwindling phone signal in a remote area in an emergency. Although quite what constitutes an emergency can vary considerably

I was asked what my intentions were when I showed this to the other half of id-iom. I thought it was obvious. I was redesigning the logo for the 80's comic version of Black Lightning, an African-American superhero. It'll be on our website in due course (id-iom.com)
