I couldn't have said it better ๐
Sim racing has given me a reason to use VR again ๐๏ธ
A few years ago, I played VR games almost every day. But over time, my interest slowly faded, and until recently, my headset had mostly been collecting dust.
I think many people feel the same. VR studios are closing, major games are becoming less frequent, and the industry feels much quieter than it used to.
But for specific use cases, VR can still be absolutely incredible, and sim racing might be one of the best examples.
Youโre sitting in a driving position, the headset almost feels like a racing helmet, your real hands are holding the wheel you see inside the car, and the force feedback lets you feel the track, the tires, and the car itself.
Everything comes together into a surprisingly realistic and deeply immersive experience ๐ฅ
So, if youโve also been wondering whether VR sim racing is worth trying, I can definitely recommend it. Iโm really enjoying it so far, and next week Iโm already going karting in real life ๐๏ธ
