The first project I managed in Shell was a $750K that I got because no one in the room wanted it - it was too small for them.
We were upgrading the Firewater System in an old oil producing platform seating in 3,000 feet of ocean water.
By the time we were done, the project ran into over $1M and it was such a success that it put me on the radar.
If you are trying to break into a new role, sniff around for the job no one wants and take it.
Like a deadly striker all you need is a half-chance to score.
Take those half-chances.

It is a good idea and something we may consider.
In the meantime, I advise graduate students to apply for the @SeyiOfoundation scholarships.
They are legit and some MT Scholars (and non MT Scholars) have benefitted in the past.
They give $5K grants and $1K grants which go a long way for students.

Some Years ago I wanted to resign as General Overseer - Pastor E.A Adeboye
I felt I was laboring in prayers and fasting for them, but they didn’t care, so I decided that I was going to resign as the General Overseer of the Church. With my decision made, I took a nap and when I woke, there was a young girl who had come to see me. She said God told her to come and give me a cake. I was so touched by the gesture that even though I don’t like cake so much, I ate that one. Then God said “I thought you said no one cared”. I realized that I had paid so much attention to appreciation from the people that I did not remember how much God cares for and loves me.
Now, when as a believer you are feeling depressed, what you need is to go deep into the presence of God because Psalm 16:11 says:
“Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.”
You cannot be engulfed in the presence of God and not feel His love and care for you; that love you feel will bring joy to your soul.

Mrs Labake, a 41 year old widow, owned a popular & well known lounge in Lagos, because of her strong connections with the Police, EFCC, and NDLEA, Big boys in town finds her lounge very safe to chill, She also ran a lucrative p!mping business, recruiting girls from her village, grooming them, and connecting them with top politicians, businessmen, and Yah00 boys while taking 45% of their earnings, Over time, many of her girls fell terribly sick or d!ed mysteriously, damaging her reputation and causing a shortage of girls, One Christmas period, a rich 45 year old UK based man visited her lounge, now she no longer has any girl working as h00k ups in her lounge again, the man requested for a mature lady to spend the night with, & Mrs Labake offered herself because she noticed the man is rich, They spent the night together in his hotel room, While he slept, she went to his wardrobe & discovered a briefcase with £50k in it, she sneaked out to conspire with the hotel manager, then returned and k!lled the man by strangling and suffocating him, She took the money and gave the manager his share then left, The next morning, the manager reported the de4th to the owner of the hotel, who then informed the Police, Police started their investigated, they asked manager if the man came in with anyone and the manager said no, they went to the room & found female eyeglasses, they arrested the manager because he was the only available that night, after so many torture the manager confessed and name Mrs Labake, They arrested Mrs Labake just as she was about to run away, the manager was sentenced to 45 years imprisonment, while Mrs Labake was convicted of murder and was sentenced to life imprisonment.
