The "Block extended spammers" should block and capture more spam calls.
If you're using any battery-saving apps kindly disable Truecaller from that list as Truecaller needs to be running in the background to block calls.

Hi Niloy! It can be a common perception that you are suddenly getting more spam calls with Truecaller installed on your phone, in practice, this is because Truecaller will identify more calls for you that may have previously been unknown.

Hello Rajnath! You can start the verification badge process by associating your profile with your Facebook/Google account where the name matches your name in Truecaller. Internal checks will also be made before your badge is processed.

Hi Vikash! Could you please confirm if you are getting spam calls on regular basis? Also confirm if you have enabled block on ‘top spammers’ in the block settings. Spam calls with lower spam reports may not be blocked as they are not considered as top spammers.

We do our best by warning you in those particular cases. If you’re using any battery-saving apps kindly disable Truecaller from that list as Truecaller needs to be running in the background in order to block calls.

Hello Navkendar! As Android and iOS are two different platforms, there are certain limitations placed by Apple on their iOS platform which prevents us from developing the same features as on Android.

For those concerned about Truecaller flagged as malware, rest assured we’ve spoken with the anti-virus software and they have confirmed it was falsely detected and issued a fix in their app. Truecaller is and has always been 100% virus free 💙 Read more: tclr.se/3BLVtKA

Hey! Here are the steps to follow: Deactivate your account in the app:-
Android: Open the app> menu (top left corner)> Settings> Privacy center> Deactivate account.
iPhone: Open the app> profile avatar (top left)> Privacy center> Deactivate account.

After deactivating, visit truecaller.com/unlisting/ and fill in your phone number with the country code. You can opt out of Truecaller's database at any time. Note that you cannot keep your number unsearchable and use the app at the same time.
