🚍 Bus franchising in Cambridgeshire & Peterborough remains on track. An independent review has recommended a phased introduction from 2027, helping reduce risk, maintain stability & learn from other areas. A simpler, more reliable & more affordable network remains the goal.

Across Greater Manchester, pedestrian crossings are being upgraded to make everyday journeys safer, easier and more accessible. Over the last few years, TfGM has improved dozens of junctions and upgraded more than 150 crossings, like this one at Philips High School in Whitefield - helping more than 200 schools, neighbourhoods and local destinations become easier to reach on foot.
