Rowing Tip # 4: Maintain a light grip on the handle
Hold the handle at the widest part, palms facing down, and make sure you maintain a light grip on the handle during the stroke.
No need for a death grip on the handle!

Think of pulling your belly button to your spine to feel the core activate.
It's important to remember this simple, often overlooked, tip when just starting out to keep you rowing for the long run!

You want your rowing stroke ratio to be 1:2
◼️ Leg Drive for 1 count : Think POWER
◼️ Recover for 2 counts : Think PATIENCE, PATIENCE

Here's your reminder:
◾ Focus on your leg drive (60%)
◾ Hinge at the hips, engage your core (20%)
◾ Finish with bringing those arms to your chest (20%)

Day 5 had me back on the rower, 2nd qtr of the Cardinals game, mixing in some core work between rowing intervals. Enjoying the @WaterRower and how smooth it is.
