Saw "Avatar" on the big IMAX screen and was completely blown away! I loved it! It definitely lived up to the hype.
Things that annoy me: so-called trashy "reality" television. What ever happened to real entertainment?
Who is at fault here for the spill? The one who didn't put the lid on the bottle tightly, or the one who picked it up and shook it?
I am becoming more and more annoyed with thoughtless cell phone users, particularly when they are driving. Rude and dangerous!
I'm still scratching my head wondering exactly what Obama did to earn the Nobel Peace Prize. Is it now a prize about speechs?
I finally got my 6' black gnarly Halloween tree put up today. It has little skulls, skeletal hands and pumpkins hanging from it.
Yay! Went to a couple of huge Halloween shops today. Found great latex prosthetics for some horrific looks. Must start sewing costumes..
Finished painting a faux cemetery fence for this year's yard haunt. Next I'll affix the little skull finials. It is turning out so cool.
I can't help wondering re: the Polanski flap, what part of drugging and sodomizing a 13 yr. old girl by a 44 yr. old man is o.k.?
I've been traveling of late. Got in from San Antonio yesterday. The Riverwalk is beautiful and there was lots to do and see. Loved it.
Ok, I'm cranky. WoW is down (again) and I might actually have to do something constructive for a change... I want my game!!
Went shoe shopping yesterday. Does it get any better for a woman? Found the greatest casual flats, Espera by Puma, that were a "must buy".
Currently waking up slow and thinking about a September trip. Halloween is just around the corner and I'm working on the annual yard haunt.
Back from Niagara, Canada, cool place but big summer crowds in the tourist area. Time to catch up on my gaming now.
Getting ready to take a trip to Niagara Falls. I've traveled a lot of places here and abroad, but never there. It's on my "bucket list".
Now they are handing out lottery tickets for the MJ funeral! I'm frankly appalled at the three-ring circus being made of his death.
Is it just me, or does the 24/7 coverage of Michael Jackson seem a bit much? I'm sorry he died, and he was truly talented, but really...
Summer came with a bang. Whatever happened to seasons gradually changing? I'm off to plant flowers in the yard and sip iced tea.
Another few days of blustery weather and sporadic power outages. It's amazing how little you can do without electricity.
Just settling down to play a little World of Warcraft. Trying to decide which character to play. I have both Horde and Alliance.
