(no hate to op) people complain television nowadays is too much on the nose and then turn around and want everything laid out in front of them when watching a show that doesnt spell everything out..

youre allowed to dislike the decision of turning them human all you want! but complaining that the show has to lay out everything for you when it has enough context in one singular episode to tell you that Maybe there is more to this ending than meets the eye.

viewers are just so media illiterate and used to shit that tells you everything with no nuance whatsoever that they cant understand the decisions writers make.... like I do believe they would show them having a "good ending" for a reason
