Filoni is the perfect example of this type of person: an exhaustive knowledge of Star Wars, lore, books, comics, toys- but clearly not into westerns, or old WW2 films, or sci-fi that ISN’T Star Wars. The result is that he can only regurgitate Star Wars instead of MAKING anything.

A big problem these long-running franchises are encountering is that they’re being helmed by people who grew up with it, who “know it”, but don’t know what made it work. They don’t know where it came from or what influenced it. They just treat its existence as matter-of-fact.
My take is that we lost all talent when the 'classical' nerds retired. They understood fantasy and sci-fi deeply. The modern nerd doesnt understand what's under the hood. We essentially need to bring 50 yo neckbeards back into the marketing Dept.

The reason why every character from Halo 2 "lost 85% of their braincells" in Halo 3 is because Bungie's organizational and leadership structure started fucking exploding in 2003 and Marcus Lehto got into a shouting match with Joseph Staten over the narrative direction of Halo 3
I think the reason that Halo fans hated on Halo 4's story is because they couldn't handle anything with more depth than a shallow pond.
"WhAt aBouT HaLO Two!?" They hated that back then too lol (and that's why every character from Halo 2 lost 85% of their braincells in Halo 3)

If Bernie and Ro Khanna liquidated all of Elon’s wealth, this welder Juan Hernandez would lose his entire retirement savings in exchange for a $350 stimmy cheque.
Step 1. Bernie and Ro Khanna force Elon to pay 80% wealth tax.
Step 2. Elon isn’t liquid because 99.9% of his wealth is held in shares. He’s immediately forced to liquidate 40% of all SpaceX shares and 22% of all Tesla shares to pay the wealth tax.
Step 3. Stock price of both companies plummets 80-90% overnight. Welder Juan Hernandez loses 80-90% of his retirement wealth.
Step 4. Elon’s cash share after fire liquidation is like $150 billion, 80% goes to the state. Bernie and Ro Khanna decide to redistribute the wealth with stimmy cheques distributed between 340 million people.
Step 5. Juan Hernandez gets a $350 stimmy cheque.
What a trade off! Come on Juan, you have more in common with the rest of us than the trillionaires. Please vote for socialism so you can exchange your once in a lifetime retirement fund windfall with a $350 stimmy cheque.
