Fantastic news out of Cornell - the University has banned graduate Aiden Vallecillo from campus for one year after he surrounded and impeded President Michael Kotlikoff’s vehicle following an Israel-Palestine debate. According to Cornell, Vallecillo followed Kotlikoff into a parking lot, blocked his ability to leave, and engaged in conduct that violated university policies on intimidation and safety. Claims that the president struck protesters with his car were not substantiated, and no criminal charges were filed. Free speech does not include harassing, intimidating, or physically preventing others from leaving. We're thrilled to see Cornell draw that line!
