I could have created a GoFundMe.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with that path. But after nearly 10 years building in crypto, I wanted to believe in what this technology and this community can make possible.
Platforms like
@pumpfun allow activity around a token to generate creator rewards. Those rewards are helping my wife and me pay for the medical expenses connected to our newborn sonβs heart condition and upcoming open heart surgery.
And in less than a week, this community has already done something incredible:
β’ 540 holdersβ¨β’ 370 people in the X communityβ¨β’ Over $23K in creator rewardsβ¨β’ 23% of our goal reachedβ¨β’ Dev tokens locked for 5 monthsβ¨β’ Listed on
@JupiterExchange
But beyond the numbers, what has moved me most is the heart being demonstrated across this community.
People are sharing Sorenβs story. People are checking in on our family. People are sending prayers, making art, building community, and showing up for a newborn baby they have never even met.
I cannot control the market. I can promise me showing up and doing what it takes for my son.
I am simply sharing a real-life story: a dad humbling himself and asking for help from the very industry he has spent nearly 10 years of his life believing in, building in, and contributing to.
For me, this feels more powerful than simply asking for donations through a GoFundMe. It creates a way for people to participate, share the story, build community, and help turn support into something tangible.
A newborn baby.β¨A family in need.β¨A road to open-heart surgery.β¨A community choosing to show up.
Crypto talks constantly about coordination, community, and mutual support.
This is one of those moments to make that real.
Thank you for showing up for solana:5qTKp44FvKsBZakm5YWihqVG2UMeQZp1pDRbLMbApump . β€οΈπͺ½
