Farming LP rewards on @Polymarket is not risk free
After farming LP rewards every day for more than 2 consecutive months, I’ve stopped farming for over a month now
I started trading organically instead, and if a market happens to offer LP rewards, I’ll gladly take them.
And I only place one sided orders instead of 2 sides. At the end, I want my orders to get filled
LP rewards are just the cherry on top when you trade organically
Find your egde, and trade organic
There’s nothing risk free in this space.

How I Almost Lost My Entire Balance Farming LP Rewards
A couple of days ago I found this market:
"Will Trump sign an executive order on May 18?"
> $30 reward pool
> Almost zero competition
> Minimum just 20 shares
i started farming, and throughout the day, my pool share was a whopping 100%
by the end of the day i made $24 in LP rewards - my new personal record
then the next day everything flipped
all my buy orders got filled and I suddenly got stuck holding $120 worth of shares
the buy side of the order book was almost empty - prices were 3-4x lower
i literally started shaking. if i lost this money, my journey would be over, and i wouldn't have that original content for X anymore
and i really didnt want to go back to my old format of just tracking other traders
i had only one option: sit and wait for someone to place buy orders just to farm the pool
against all odds… it actually happened
i managed to sell most of my shares for $90
im still holding the rest, hoping for the best

Is it too late to farm the Polymarket airdrop?
Yes, if you compare to users who started in 2024 or early 2025
But for someone starting today, it’s still very much worth it
Most of Polymarket’s millions of users barely trade.
This means the bar is lower than you think:
• Top 10% Volume → only a few $K–$20K total traded
• Top 10% PnL (~200k wallets) → just a few hundred $ profit
• Top 10% Liquidity Providers → ~$34
Volume and LP rankings are still very achievable
Late > Never

Out of my total loss, $7k came from just 4 matches of Real Madrid & Bayern Munich
I still remember them all clearly, especially Bayern’s first Bundesliga loss… while I was betting they WOULDN’T lose
