I don't feel this way, not to invalidate how others feel though. I have a 30 min walk to work, 30 mins back. Do I come home, and feel a bit mentally drained? Yeah. Do I need 2 hours to recover? No. Maybe I just hit the jackpot by finding a career I love, at a company I like?
£35K salary sounds alright until you work out what it actually costs you. You're not getting paid for 8 hours. You're selling your entire day. The commute. The lunch hour you can't use. The 2 hours on the couch recovering when you get home. Add it all up and your real hourly rate drops to about £10.58. The person who made your coffee this morning earned more per hour than you did. They just didn't have to sit through a team meeting first.

So there we have it. Reform UK want to repeal the Equality Act. This is the law that: Stops your boss sacking you for being pregnant. Protects disabled workers who need adjustments to do their job. Backs up equal pay for women. Stops people from being harassed at work because they’re LGBT . Makes it illegal to refuse someone a job or a service because of their race or religion. And THIS is what they’ve decided is the problem in Britain? Not the cost of living. Not NHS waits. Not wages. (They said they’d actually them CUT for young people) But YOUR rights. THEIR culture wars would TEAR UP protections that millions of hardworking Brits rely on every day. NO THANKS ❌

14 years ago Dead Island made its gory debut. Today, Dead Island 2 has dragged 20 million Slayers into the sunny chaos of HELL-A. The next outbreak? Dambuster is already drenched in the work. The journey is far from over... #DeadIsland

How would we go about claiming this back as there were no other methods of travelling between Chesterfield and Nottingham via a "valid route"

Today we launched our crowdfunder to challenge last week’s Supreme Court’s decision – which we believe has placed the UK in breach of its obligations under the Human Rights Act 🏳️‍⚧️ goodlaw.social/xdwu

Hello everyone! Sadly Freejam is closing down this month. I worked with amazing people for the past 1.5 years and everyone is gutted. We all had so much hope for this game. Thank you guys for the time I had. I am now open for any work again! My portfolio: benedyktcieslinski.com

Only a small number of young people are prescribed puberty blockers. Those who are often describe them as life-saving. I know the distress the puberty blockers ban is causing them. No matter what happens in court, I will continue fighting for the government to scrap it.

This is the first time, in my entire life, where I actually feel more hopeful about the state of UK politics today, than I did yesterday

I also believe that Labour, as a party, has changed for the worse since 2019, but compared to the previous government, hopefully, this is a huge step forward and Labour can fix the issues caused by the Tories in the last 14 years of their rule

I was 10 when the Tories took power in 2010; I don't really remember a UK government before David Cameron And I hope this sparks the start of a new era in British politics, I hope that the state of the country will improve, truly, for everyone
