@0xSofia3 was also affected by this incident. We lost approximately 2,500 TRUST and 100,000 SOFIA governance tokens, isolated to our Colony.
Like
@intuition_box, we stayed quiet while the situation was being handled. Now that the refund is underway, transparency matters more than silence.
Importantly, the
$TRUST rewards from our Alpha Tester Reward Program had already been distributed to the winners before the incident. Our community is untouched, the loss was on Sofia's operational side.
We also want to recognize the Colony team. They moved quickly, communicated clearly, and took responsibility. How a team responds during difficult moments matters, and they showed up.
We continue to support the Colony vision and the broader work of building better onchain coordination infrastructure. Solidarity with
@intuition_box and every affected colony.
Last week, the Colony ecosystem experienced a security incident that affected a number of colonies across the network, including Intuition Box.
At the time, we chose not to comment publicly while the situation was being actively investigated and resolved in coordination with the Colony team. Now that the process is underway, we believe transparency matters and want our community to be informed.
Intuition Box has now been fully refunded by the Colony team for the total amount affected, approximately USD ~$15,760. Importantly, no Intuition Box treasury or operational wallets outside of Colony were affected, the incident was isolated to the compromised Colony infrastructure.
We also want to acknowledge the professionalism and responsiveness of the Colony team throughout this process. They moved quickly, communicated clearly, and took responsibility in ensuring affected colonies were made whole.
Security incidents are never ideal, but how teams respond during difficult moments matters. We appreciate the effort, accountability, and collaboration shown by the Colony team and everyone involved in resolving the issue.
We continue to support the Colony vision and the broader mission of building better onchain coordination infrastructure. Our intention is to continue using Colony moving forward, depending on the team's future roadmap, security improvements, and long-term direction following this incident.
