Most people have no idea how bad the UK doctor training system really is.
It demands double the training time of other countries, pays doctors less at every stage, and then often keeps them ājuniorā even after they finish all their training.
Look at the numbers.

Reflection 2: Grief has no set timeline.
From this year's 100 word project, we have learnt that there is no set timeline for grief and that the healing process takes time and fluctuates.

From this yearās #100wd weāve learnt so much about grief. Over the next few days, I will be reflecting on the common themes which came across throughout the project.
Reflection 1: Grieving is not a one size fits all experience - everyone has a unique journey grieving.
On this final day of the 100word project, I share my reflections on grief . It has been an immense privilege to receive your stories of resilience, hope, and healing. Thank you for trusting me with your experiences. Hereās what Iāve learned along my journey.
@Mwawasimkamwasi
" There's never been a strategy apart from allowing the pain of losing a loved one to express itself in any form it meeds to. Not suppressing painful emotions to fester."

Day 94/100
"Being part of a community, especially one that understands what youāre going through is very important to cope with grief. A community where you can talk about them, or just sit in silence, or cry. Thatās the best strategy."

Day 93/100
" My advice would be to allow yourself to feel all the pain and talk to someone, spend time with the people you love. "

Day 92/100
"It definitely doesnāt get easier⦠you just get stronger and learning to push through life without them."

Day 90/100
" I have come to realize that crying is a window to let an overwhelming emotion empty itself, somehow. We cry when we are happy, sad, grieving and for so many other reasons. Crying will always heal. Though slow, but progressive"

Day 89/100
"I have learned to listen, to empathise and to be present. I have prioritised to care, show up and to love the people important to me. "
