Eccentric training isn't a specialty tool It's part of building a complete muscle Jan Seiler at the 1080 Summit in Austin shared a study comparing eccentric and concentric training: 👉 Eccentric training improved both eccentric and concentric output 👉 While concentric training improved concentric but not eccentric It's a simple case for the value of eccentric work, regardless of sport. Training needs to develop robust muscles for better output, then practice and the sport makes it transfer Then use motorized resistance to both create actual eccentric overload and track eccentric strength over time That's the variable most programs are missing
