Kaspa v2.0.0 has been released ahead of the Toccata hardfork, currently scheduled for June 30, 2026
Node operators should upgrade before activation to remain compatible with the network.
Starting 24 hours before the hardfork, nodes will only connect to peers running the new P2P protocol version.
Release also includes updates for miners, pools, wallets, exchanges, explorers, and other infrastructure providers.
Service operators are encouraged to test their systems on Testnet-10 and verify support for the new transaction fields, fee rules, and API changes before mainnet activation.
