I think this is 100% reasonable policing. If the man is hassling people and refuses to stop doing it, what else is the fella charged with looking after the majority of the population supposed to do?
West Yorkshire Police Officer Under Investigation After Shoving A Man Allegedly Harassing Shoppers
Footage shows the officer shoving a man to move him away from shop entrances following reports of harassment.
Bystanders film the incident, accuse the officer of assault, and aggressively demand his badge number while he continues directing the man along the street.
West Yorkshire Police has confirmed the officer is now under internal investigation.
If the man was harassing people in the shops, that kind of proportionate shove to clear the area seems entirely reasonable, the contact looks minimal, and the dramatic fall appears heavily exaggerated.
Simple rule: Stop harassing people and you won’t get pushed away.
What do you think, reasonable policing or overreaction?
