Celestial Cafe in Baltimore has cooked with WCK's pandemic response for over a year. Tondria began the effort with us last year. She tragically passed away from Covid, so her mother Lucy & father have stepped in to keep their daughter's legacy & commitment to the community going.

In simulated Biosecurity preparedness exercises, the pandemic origin was relevant, presented as fact. In this article, the search for the truth on virus origins is posed as a threat in and of itself Great power competition in the age attention economy greatpower.us/p/great-power-…

Listen to Michelle Obama: “We’ve got to vote early, in person if we can. We’ve got to request our mail-in ballots right now, tonight, and send them back immediately and follow-up to make sure they’re received. And then, make sure our friends and families do the same”

An immunology board game would have a rulebook that's 600 pages long and is written only in acronyms; there's a cupboard's worth of tokens; and every so often, the board spontaneously catches fire.

#ELBI Fellows know conspiracy theories and epidemics are nothing new, but this one narrative in a MI megachurch is a fine example of what public health is up against
A megachurch in Grandville, MI showed a political propaganda video at a July 5 service blaming Democrats for the death of #GeorgeFloyd, #BlackLivesMatter, riots, and #Covid_19 (both as a hoax and for killing elderly people, somehow). It is 12 minutes of wild. 1/7

We need to summon the energy and commitment that inspired a 674-mile journey across frozen Alaska and the relentless pursuit of the “death of a disease”. We should be moving mountains for this pandemic. It will be hard, but we’ve done hard things before. We can do it again. 20/20
