In a recent survey, Omdia identified five primary dynamics reshaping the industry this year: 1️⃣Evaluation metrics are shifting to TTFT and vector retrieval speed. 2️⃣Hyperscalers are balance agility and sovereignty with 2 delivery paradigms: full-stack drop-in and software/hardware decoupling. 3️⃣Compute-native AI cloud upgrade has risen rack power density to 40-250 kW. 4️⃣Vertical integrators, domain operators, and ISVs are capturing the final value layer through long-cycle data governance, legacy integration, and scenario-specific agent assembly. 5️⃣Regulatory frameworks such as the EU AI Act and equivalent compliance frameworks are driving requirements for sensitive data to remain within physically isolated facilities. A recent benchmark study testing small cell radios deployed in AT&T's network in Dallas showed that 1Finity's #OpenRAN Mini Macro RUs performed "largely on par" compared to Ericsson radios.
