Who this model helps:
Teams that outperformed their win expectations and/or made deep runs in tournaments. We believe this is the best way to objectively see the difference coaches made since the players previous stats are accounted for.

Who this model hurts:
Teams who had previously had MVP players on their roster (eg. Nyck, Len). However there is definitely a case to be made for those who are expected to perform & still do!

How environment can matter. @ReeseDaGod had an 18.33 - Grade: C Efficiency rating on @gengtigers2k this season & after moving to @MavsGG is currently ranked 26.00 - Grade: A per @1ManFrontOffice. Indicates a big change in usage, lets see if It continues.

If you can truly master (keyword is master) slashing at an elite level in your offensive identity this year, you’re better off. However, the risk is high, if you can’t master it at an elite level you’re better off continuing to shoot volume 3s.
