After a week on the road, I arrived last night- officially a Seattle resident! I still need furniture. And a real job. But I got a place to lay my head down.. and my first impression? I think I'll like it here. If you are in the PNW hit me up, let's grab a drink or coffee!

Took my morning coffee relaxing at the waterfront. Then I visited the aquarium. Whatever tf these things are always photograph so well.

I've stocked up 20 pounds of beef and still buying. I'm not a beef fiend but ALL meat is going to be stupid expensive soon. High oil inflation is bad. Now add wormy beef, culled herds, higher demand for other meats. Going to fill my freezer with as much meat as possible.

I'm having fun riding my scooter around Seattle. Very scooter & bike friendly. But once in a while you get these insane grades like San Fran level of incline. Or like below- had to carry a 50lb scooter on my back up a long äss hill & stairs. This was only 1/3 of the way up 🤦

I can point out dozens of ghost job ads right now. I started my job search in August. So many of these ads have been reposted weekly every week since then. Politicians won't admit the BLS and other "official" data is a lie. And not "oh all politicians twist data to a narrative.." No. This is firing detractors, blackmailing officials, revising down millions of supposed jobs months later.. the kind of stuff you'd expect from a 30x felon. Compounding the problem is corporations won't admit they are cooking the books to pump stocks. AI isn't what caused 95% of layoffs. Bad business decisions and a tight economic climate are the reason for layoffs and reduced hiring. Plus the frantic late stage capitalist race to max extract from Americans before the ponzi collapses. This job market and economy is a god damned joke and so is America at this point.. Led by our glorious tariff-fücker pedo in Chief, Making America Great (at fücking the middle and lower classes) Again while he makes billions insider trading. You are not angry enough. Seriously. We are being multi-generationally fücked. You, your kids, your grandkids, friends, family.. all totally and thoroughly fücked if we don't stop this.

My second weekend wrapped up in the the PNW.

Been testing out my great grandfather's camera. He was an incredible photographer.. It's nothing special but would love to get it back to working condition and take it for a spin.

There's a lot of hard shït to contend with in my life rn. I'm getting through it. But as stupid as it sounds.. leaving this guy behind is one of the hardest. We spent basically every day together since 2019, once I started working from home. I wouldn't call him an "emotional support" dog, but in a way he kind of was. Probably oversharing but I have some mental health issues I've been working through from my army days, and I didn't realize how much it helped having him around until he wasn't. PS: not looking for advice or sympathy or anything.. I guess just venting a little. And wanted to share this picture because it's cute.. and mental health shouldn't be stigmatized.
