As the founder of 1ott, before launch I want to speak honestly with everyone about both the strengths and the limitations of 1ott. 1ott was built as the world’s first fully on-chain decentralized casino, a true DeCasino. We may not be able to offer the most perfect user experience from day one, but what we can offer is a level of security, fairness, and transparency that has never been seen before in this space. Here are the three core strengths of 1ott The core gambling logic is fully deployed on Solana and can be accessed by anyone. The entire draw process and final results are fully recorded on Solana blocks, making cheating impossible. On Solscan, you can enter the 1ott program page and open the randomness section to view the full draw process and results. All user winnings are held inside Solana PDA vaults. No one can stop you from withdrawing your funds, not even 1ott. This can also be verified on-chain. Of course, building a casino fully on-chain also comes with several limitations. Every interaction requires wallet confirmation, which does create some UX friction. However, you can use the Solflare Burner Wallet and enable auto-approval to achieve a smoother signing experience. There are no vouchers. Yes, because we do not use a centralized financial system, we do not have fake casino vouchers. We only use real SOL. This also creates some operational limitations. System volatility may happen. Since our betting, draw, and settlement systems are all deployed on-chain, network congestion on Solana may sometimes cause delays or failed bets. But your funds remain protected by the on-chain system. We cannot develop highly complex game systems at this stage.
