you do not care about “protecting women” (selectively deciding who fits your image of what a “woman” is) this is not a “feminist” win - it is a targeted culture war on trans people. it is the result of ignorant and dangerous moral panic instigated with malicious intent.

heart is with my trans friends and loves today. it’s gutting to see this ruling being celebrated as a win for “women’s rights”. our rights are intertwined - historically always have been. always will be. trans rights and women’s rights go hand in hand. they are one.

Still not really sure what to say… The ruling of the Supreme Court is an enormous blow and step backwards for trans women and the safety of the trans community that we all have a duty to protect. I don’t know where to even begin but we all have a duty to try and help the trans community in anyway we can. Signing petitions, sharing links, speaking out against transphobia, protests… whether it’s online or in real life, no matter how small or big, just please make sure you choose the right side of humanity until trans people are allowed to exist freely
