Year 4 had a fantastic time at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park. The sun shone and the sculptures were amazing! We were very glad that the coach had air conditioning!

The last week of term at @TeamManorGreen was full of creativity as we held a arts week. Team Ruby showed they were full of talent. Our week was based around Stravinsky and his music Firebird. We listened, composed, danced and wrote poetry #artsweek

@20224RB enjoyed celebrating the Kings Coronation. We created a stamp based on the school & Trusts values. We wrote about the hobbies in 2023, which we will be passing on to our councillors to go into the Haughton Green time capsule. Will our hobbies still be about in 100 years?

After reading ‘The Promise’ in English, we planted sunflowers in order to help improve our environment. Many children have taken them home to look after them. We would love to see any photos of them as they grow. We have planted a special one for Mrs Buckley. @TeamManorGreen

As part of #BritishScienceWeek2023 we have researched a female scientist, Jane Goodall. Through observations, Jane made some important discoveries about chimpanzees, we attempted some observations too. @TeamManorGreen
