Generators are my new favorite ES6 JavaScript feature because they simplify writing and thinking about recursive code.
I was supposed to be doing something else, but I ended up going down a rabbit hole thinking about higher-order logging just so I could easily see the function name, arguments and result without any boilerplate code. Also, it has a funny name which is a plus for me.

I finally finished a blog post that I've been tinkering with for the past 6 months. It's a true story, about solving a UI programming problem with the help of decision tables. hachibu.net/posts/2020/build…

But something changed and I decided that I wanted to try and contribute back to the tech community. So, I set a reasonable goal with concrete deadlines and it worked out way better than I could have imagined.

At the end of 2019, I set a goal to write 12 blog posts in 2020. I ended up writing 13 blog posts, giving my first tech talk and making it to the front page of Hacker New twice.

For a decade, I quietly lurked the blogosphere. I never felt like I had anything worthy to say because I definitely had Imposter syndrome since I was originally a cartoonist.
