The committee today answered the question of whether there would have been 4 CUSA bids if DBU had won the conference tourney. They had little respect for CUSA and it shows in all three CUSA teams being 3-seeds. Jax State was solidly in the top 32 in all metrics, but there they are a 3 seed. Liberty was closer, but all of the metrics had them right at 32, but that one is more acceptable and less of a snub. MoSt was also iffy on the 2 line, but like Liberty, it wasn’t a big snub. If the committee couldn’t see Jax as a 2-seed, they 100% would have left Liberty or MoSt at home with a DBU auto-bid.

I'm not a normal complainer, like about the refs, like some Liberty fans do repeatedly. I am not complaining about CUSA/scheduling. However, I do think the weather and delays gave Jax State a big advantage with Liberty having virtually no rest, being at the field all day Sat.
