Day 3 of the 278th ACR Best Warrior Competition Troopers tackled early morning land navigation, Army Warrior Tasks, and a 12-mile ruck march. Now, it’s time to hit the books and prep for the board and ceremony.

80 years ago today, our lineage unit, the 117th IR, 30th ID, began landing in Normandy, France. From June 14-19, 1944, they established themselves near the Normandy Beaches, later participating in major WWII campaigns. Their bravery and battle streamers continue to inspire us.
