We are incredibly saddened to hear of the passing of Sir Michael Gambon. He brought immeasurable joy to Harry Potter fans from all over the world with his humour, kindness and grace. We will forever hold his memory in our hearts.

A Heartfelt Farewell: Thank You, Year 11 Students! Dear Year 11 Students, As I sit down to pen this bittersweet farewell, my heart is filled with a tapestry of emotions. The time has come for us to bid adieu to a group of incredible individuals who have grown, thrived, and made their mark on @OGACADEMY . I want to express my deepest gratitude for the unwavering dedication, respect, and kindness you have exhibited during your five-year journey with us. From the moment you walked through our doors as eager young learners, I knew this cohort was special. Over the years, I have had the privilege of witnessing your transformation from shy and uncertain adolescents to confident, resilient young adults. Your personal growth has been nothing short of remarkable. Your unwavering commitment to academic excellence has inspired us all. Through countless hours of studying, late nights of revision, and determination to reach your goals, you have showcased an incredible work ethic that will undoubtedly propel you to achieve great things in the future. Your hunger for knowledge and thirst for learning has been an inspiration to both your teachers and peers. But it is not just your academic achievements that have made an indelible impact. It is your kindness, compassion, and respect for one another that has truly set you apart. I have witnessed countless acts of friendship, empathy, and support within your year group. Whether it was reaching out to a struggling classmate, offering a helping hand, or standing up for what is right, you have created a culture of inclusivity and belonging that has made our school community stronger. It is said that true character reveals itself in times of adversity, and you, Year 11, have faced unprecedented challenges with unwavering resilience. The world has thrown obstacles your way, but you have navigated through them with grace and determination. Your ability to adapt, to find silver linings in difficult circumstances, and to persevere in the face of adversity is a testament to your strength of character. As you prepare to step into the next chapter of your lives, remember the lessons you have learned within these walls. Embrace the values of hard work, respect, and kindness that have shaped you into the remarkable individuals you are today. Carry forward the friendships you have cultivated, the knowledge you have acquired, and the memories you have made. Although it is time for us to part ways, please know that your impact on our school community will forever be etched in our hearts. You have left an indelible mark on the fabric of this school, and your absence will be keenly felt. As you spread your wings and embark on new adventures, remember that you will always have a home here, and our doors will forever be open to welcome you back. I am proud of how many students have chosen to return to our Post 16 community next year. Thank you, for five years of hard work, respect, and kindness. You have enriched our lives in countless ways, and we are immensely proud of the incredible individuals you have become. As you step into the wider world, may your dreams soar high, and may your journey be filled with happiness, success, and fulfilment. With heartfelt gratitude, Mr Woods 🫡

Then after hanging round in Scarborough all day Monday a million calls from myself to @Hoseasons to be told we will call you back! I called them back at 4.30 to be told there was nothing they could do. Half term ruined & I genuinely believe it was down to greed. #part2

Arrived at our holiday Friday with @hoseasons to be told there was no booking. Then told to find somewhere to stay for the night whilst they relocate us. Passed from pillar to post and each company blamed the other #part1
