RIP WAYNE GRAHAM
One of the greatest baseball coaches to ever set foot in a dugout in Texas history.
Graham won FIVE NJCAA national championships with San Jacinto. Then went to Rice and won 1,173 games and an NCAA National Championship
One of the top coaches in college history
Coach Graham was also one of the first legendary Texas baseball figures to grant me an interview for my Texas Baseball book. He was kind, helpful and extremely friendly and supportive. I cannot thank him enough.

Colleyville Heritage High School star Bobby Witt JR just signed a $288,800,000 contract that could increase to $377,000,000. This kid is an amazing talent who has HOF potential, can't wait to watch the next 15 years of his career. Texas Baseball should be proud of his success!!!

Lol - the life of a writer!
For every 20 positive comments, there is one like this.
I try and send a message to all players/coaches featured in the two books, letting them know the books exist and where they can be purchased.
I guess this guy didn't like where I ranked his team!
BOBBY WITT JR - Colleyville Heritage High School star!!!
What an honor!
For a walk down memory lane, in his senior season for Colleyville, Bobby was the National Gatorade Player of the Year after hitting .515 with 15 home runs, 54 RBIs, and 17 stolen bases.
Absolutely amazing.
Congratulations to Bobby Witt Jr. on winning his second #HeartAndHustle Award!

Needville, Tx also won, knocking off Mississippi 9-5.
2-0 start for the two Texas teams
Team members include: Isaac Solis, Charlie Illanne, Max Martinez, Mason Ontiveros, Case Collie, Tesher Scharbauer, Easton Payne, Noah Curran, Jackson Rucker, Phoenix Skiles, Will Gray and Ayden Aleman.
Odd moment, a tournament official chastised us for "leaning over the railing" and said we had to stop.
We were standing between the 1base and the RF fence in the OF.
My kids were leaning on the fence, I had my arms on top of the fence. Nobody was leaning onto the field side.
He said the Umpire instructed him to come talk to us.
I haven't coached for ten years and the umps are still out to get me apparently LOL.
Funny, I saw people during the game with their arms literally hanging over the fence onto the field side...but that was OK.
What can ya do!
