In Irpin, a grassroots organization of mostly senior volunteers, Berehyni z Irpenya ("Guardians from Irpin"), makes camouflage nets, socks & trench lights for soldiers at the front. But since last year, donations have slowed considerably...

Gonna take a break from tweeting, friends. Double semester coming up, and I’m still working on an ambitious side quest. Until we meet again, stay strong russophobes🫡

Land of Rus’ referred to the realm around Kyiv, Chernihiv, and Pereiaslav (in modern-day Ukraine). Novgorod and Suzdal were not considered part of Rus’ proper. Anyone who claims otherwise simply hasn’t read, or is ignoring, the contemporary sources. Let me prove it to you🧵⬇️

Exhibit C: Novgorodians Are Prevented from Leaving Rus’ (1142) Context: The bishop, merchants, and envoys of Novgorod were not permitted to leave Rus’. -> Rus’ was treated as a space the Novgorodians could enter or leave, showing that Novgorod itself was not part of Rus’.

Exhibit D: Novgorod Under Attack (1169) "The men of Suzdal … Smolensk, Toropets, Murom and of Ryazan … the men of Polotsk, and the whole Rus’ land proper, approached Novgorod." -> Novgorod, along with several other polities, is explicitly distinguished from Rus’ land proper

In the Treaty of Buchach (1672), both the Commonwealth and the Ottoman Empire referred to the Hetmanate as the Ukrainian State in their respective languages. The first foreign power to officially refer to Muscovy as the Tsardom of Russia was in the Grzymułtowski Treaty (1686). Hence, in terms of international recognition, Ukraine is older than Russia. If you disagree, please cite a treaty and provide a link to an archival scan, in which the Tsardom of Moscow is explicitly referred to as the Tsardom of Russia by a foreign power earlier than 1672. They count Ukrainian independence from USSR, Orange Revolution and Maidan as "US-backed regime change operations" Oh no, Washington condemned Yanukovych's election fraud and violence against civilians, how horrible! Amerikkka recognized Ukraine's independence??PURE EVIL.
The United States has become the greatest source of political instability in the world.

All I'm gonna say is that Turkiye didn't have to deal with any more of russia's bullshit after shooting down one of their SU-24s Moscow has always followed a very primitive diplomatic policy: you show weakness, they advance; you punch them in the nose, they retreat.

russia just staged another provocation: 3 warplanes violated Estonian airspace & circled within 9km of Tallinn for 12 minutes. This wasn’t a mistake, it was a deliberate - just like the drones over Poland. The ‘anti war’ ‘no escalation’ idiots are again, silent

Skill issue. Ukrainians received 3 monuments for also helping save Vienna and, most importantly, for introducing Austrians to coffee by adding milk and sugar.
There is no statue of Sobieski in Vienna after what he did for you. We don't give a sh*t abt what you think, bunch of ungrateful idiots.

Ten years after Donetsk’s so-called "liberation" from the "Kyiv regime", the city resembles a struggling, underdeveloped shithole. People are dying of thirst in what was once one of Ukraine’s wealthiest cities, while Moscow drains its resources.

Its the non-violent video games you need to keep an eye on. Those are the true radicalizers. 7 0 0 0 hours combined in HOI4 and VR CHAT... I don't even want to imagine what that kind of shit would do to my brain.
Images of Kirk's killer, Tyler Robinson's social media video gaming account known as "Steam". 3 of these games are extremely violent shooting and firearms simulators with graphic imagery where Tyler no doubt honed his skills and learnt how to shoot and murder.
