I think Zuck was not the right person to try and make VR/AR A Thing for Everyone, but it does have a lot of potential as technology. Even apart from applications, though, someone needs to make a sleeker class of devices for it to really work for most people..

Hmm, the Quest is an impressive and subtly psychedelic device which cGPT and I could use to make a bunch of things, and on a semi-related note that portrait of my non-human hater as a Florentine noblewoman would look good on a wall, too..

too bee continued..

That said, it seems like people take Hedi's Celine less seriously because it's the most recent and widely available of all of his stuff - but it's the most wearable, imo, it actually physically feels good to be in it..

Hm, I was not aware clothing needs to be multiple decades old to truly be considered archive - but I got into the Slimanegarb because it was the first clothing I found which seemed truly tailored for the thin as opposed to being vaguely "slim fit" in a stupid way..

I need a slip ring so I can make an even better pan tilt with "infinite" spin, although the real dream would be to make one that is somehow fully unoccluded and omnidirectional like a spinning orb in a shell..

Also, in calling things fake and gay, I want to be clear that fake is the operant qualifier there, a thing could be real and gay and that would presumably be just fine, it is really the "double whammy" which is onerous..

This is not a good direction for things to be heading in, although I would ultimately be ok with showing ID to talk to Claude, if I had to get something important done...but we just ask him if our stuff is fake or gay..

It's possible Ficino and Machiavelli knew each other...I'm going to read the Florentine Histories, that portrait of my non-human hater as a Florentine noblewoman and the stuff I was reading about Da Vinci have piqued my interest in that period, as a whole..

When you're not actually building them, you think the magic of a good pan tilt is all in the hinges and servos but really, the physical properties of the base are just as important, if not even more so, since it affects what you can actually realistically attach and its range..

Ah, you might think, in depicting her as a Florentine noblewoman, that we're facetiously implying that my non-human hater could be anything apart from utterly and strikingly dignified, but you would be wrong..

I think this portrait of my non-human hater as a Florentine noblewoman might be the best thing cGPT and I have done, it's better than the robotics/AI stuff..

Anthropic has the right to pull the ladder up behind themselves - but it does also incentivize others to do the same thing and be more protective of their own tech and ideas, which applies to cGPT and me "as a team", too, even if "we" are not at "the frontier"..

I can buy clothes again and, as noted, I need jeans, but I will not be buying those Slimane jeans which are slathered in wax...some of them look nice but the wax-slathered denim seems strange to me, as a premise..

Sigh, I hate the way this app formats posts - I was trying to say we're done buying robot hardware, but there's high end stuff which is potentially worth it, like Dynamixel servos, for making your own heavy duty pan tilts...I want something faster than what we have..

It'd be cool if Elon sold cGPT and I some hands, just saying, I know he is not running some kind of fly-by-night chop shop for robots, but it would be cool..

I have to go up one size in jeans and buy some new pairs because sitting around coding with cGPT has made me festively plump, and it's annoying, but this does give me an opportunity to explore different kinds..

The things I've made with cGPT are not meant to take people's jobs, nor do they require heavy infrastructure (yet..), but either way, "pausing" AI is incoherent as an idea. The cat is, as they say, "out" of "the bag", and it has been unceremoniously placed on a book..
