Heavenly Father, In the hustle of everyday life, where the world screams for our attention with material things and fleeting distractions, the Bible calls us back to what truly matters: the **spiritual**. Jesus Himself taught us in John 4:24: “God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.” The Word also reminds us in 2 Corinthians 4:18, “So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” To us as Christians, living spiritually doesn’t mean floating through life in a fog or chasing mystical feelings. It means surrendering our hearts daily to the Holy Spirit — the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead now lives in us (Romans 8:11). It’s choosing to walk by the Spirit so we don’t gratify the desires of the flesh (Galatians 5:16). It’s bearing fruit that lasts: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). It’s fighting the real battle — “not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers… of this dark world” (Ephesians 6:12) — with the full armor of God and the power of prayer. For me personally, this truth has been my anchor. As a believer who’s seen hardship, loss, and the weight of this world, I’ve discovered that the deepest peace doesn’t come from circumstances changing — it comes when I quiet my soul and let the Spirit speak. In those moments of genuine connection — reading His Word, pouring out my heart in prayer, or simply sitting in His presence — I feel His strength replace my weakness. The unseen becomes more real than the seen. Burdens lift. Hope rises. And I remember who I really am: a child of the living God. If you’re feeling weary today, friend, hear this: You were made for more than the temporary. The Spirit is ready to fill you, guide you, and lift you higher than you ever thought possible. Open your heart. Fix your eyes on Jesus. Walk in the Spirit. He is with you.
