I personally saw a 2A region in 2019 with 3 future D1, P4 arms. There were six total D1 arms in playoffs that year. 2A can ball. Overall maybe not as deep year in and year out but there are some good ball players.

Two years ago I said I hoped that, in time, the girls would come to appreciate what it truly means just to play in a state championship game. Reaching that stage is an accomplishment few ever experience.

The finishing touches are being applied at Blacksburg High School's new, beautiful baseball and softball fields! The facilities look phenomenal! We can't wait to see our athletes take the fields!

To answer my own question from actually reading the rules. Rule doesnt go into effect until at or after halftime

I wonder if there is no running clock in @SCHSL Class AAAAA-D2 game due to TV AD breaks. 42 is supposed to trigger running clock except for injuries and timeouts. I thought new rules meant coaches couldn't refuse.
