Many people ask "why 3.21?" Typically, people have 23 pairs of chromosomes - 2 of each, totaling 46 chromosomes. Individuals with Down syndrome have 3 copies of the 21st chromosome - a total of 47 chromosomes. The extra chromosome changes the way their body and brain develop.
Football season is in full-swing!! Aaron's Acres Chuckie Magee Flag Football and Cheerleading Program has been playing since the beginning of August and they have a few games left. The program is for individuals, ages 18-40 with disabilities.

The 8th Annual Touchdowns for Down Syndrome game is Friday October 4th 7:00 PM at Landis Field in Harrisburg. This year Central Dauphin is playing Central Dauphin East. Proceeds from this event will benefit 3.21 For Life!! Check-out additional details in the photo and sign-up ๐
The Red Strikers Bowling Club had a BLAST at their annual banquet last month ๐ณ They hosted a total of 84 bowlers and their caregivers!! All 119 total bowlers in the club received an award either at the banquet or during their weekly bowling sessions.
