As an industry where golf needs to do better - and where I need to do better - is communicating to city councils & parks departments that munis (done well) can be transformational investments with tremendous community upside.

The Tiger Woods story is still emerging. Regardless of details of what happened, it is the future that I hope will see healthy and positive changes for the best golfer of this generation. That said, it’s not a golf story to me, it’s a story of a father and philanthropist.

Wow. My condolences to his family. Mark was always so gracious with his time with me in the early days of both my golf writing and golf business. He did so much to ground PEI as a respected golf destination within Canada. A good man gone far too soon.
