The version passed by the General Assembly defined an “assault weapon” as a semi automatic centerfire rifle or pistol with a fixed magazine capacity over 15 rounds.
The Governor’s substitute strips the word “fixed.”
Any semi-auto that has a magazine capable of holding more than 15 rounds is now an "assault firearm."

CBP screwed up on 2 parts the initial officer overstepping/and the dogpile miscommunication
Protester screwed up by not walking away when he had the chance WHILE carrying and actively resisting arrest.
