Last week @plymouthart hosted the #FabCity Plymouth Forum, where we heard from two fantastic speakers; Michael Hunt from @3DPC_ & Tim Crabtree from Raise the Roof. We also welcomed some new faces to the #FabLab with a tour of our maker space. Thanks to everyone who joined!

Our internal contest on #3Dprinted Christmas decorations, the most original design goes to Sam Kent! Sam designed them based on landmarks in Cornwall, where his Grandparents are from. And printed with Fishy Filaments recycled Nylon material which is made from Cornish fishing net.

:) I run the largest 3D Print Farm here in cornwall . We have over 30 machines including @3DGence and @modix3d lots of @CraftBot3D s too as well as really large format machines

A 1/8 scale model buggy? 🚗 We think so!
With each component individually on our print farm, we used a Craftbot Flow IDEX printer and Fiberlogy - filaments selected to fit the purpose and desired aesthetic of the build.

This is truly heart warming! A Cornish mum was worried how her autistic son would react if he ever lost his beloved toy microphone - he takes it everywhere

Really bad day yesterday with a electrical fault in the car.
However big up to @butlerbuildings for clearly making air freshners which just don't burn!!!!
What a selling point.
