Couldn’t return back from visiting schools in America without my own pickle ball gear. Can’t wait to use these in my classroom!! Won’t be long before this game takes over down under!

A colleague and I are headed to New York & LA to explore community engagement in schools. We will be in New York on the 11th - 13th and in LA on the 17th - 18th of Oct. We are able to provide PD for any schools happy for us to stop by and visit their school! Looking to connect.

I’ve been using these brightly coloured emotion balls as a check in with students when they arrive in PE, they have been a big hit. Student responses provide a good snapshot for me as the teacher!

One of my local Ballarat district coordinators is looking to borrow 2 sets of soccer goals 5m x 2m to use at carnivals over the next few weeks. Does anyone have any he could borrow. Or any ideas where to buy them (first carnival is Wednesday)? Happy to travel to pick up!

Sitting on top of the climbing frame teaching climbing technique while completing an assessment rubric on idoceo. In the background a second focus group lead by me using a video filmed for remote learning last year! It’s great when it all comes together.

Where did that term break go!?!? Glad to be back in the gym, the enthusiasm from the Ss today certainly for me pumped for a great term ahead! We love our gymnastics unit!!!

The first photos are up on the ‘sporty snaps’ wall. Let’s hope it’s full by the end of the year. 2020 was a tad light on. The Ss love seeing these pictures up on the wall! Can’t wait for them to discover them tomorrow

New equipment for the first week back! Can’t wait to play with the Ss. Stay tuned for how they go. We will be using them for a basic chasing and tagging game and a more complex invasion game! Expensive though - cost me $6
