Absolutely love black cats and had been planning to give Salem a forever home, but it was not to be 😢. Sadly, not all rescues get a happy ending, but we will never stop trying our best for precious animals. RIP Salem, run free in rainbow heaven 🌈 💔

Can we please ask you to Share for Axl? He’s not had any enquiries at all. We cover the whole of Scotland and beyond for the right home. Axl is a 1.5 year old German Shepherd Cross Rottweiler.  He is good with older kids but will bark at other dogs.  Axl is in need of a new home through no fault of his own.  He is chipped and chemically neutered.  Axl is healthy with no medical issues.  He eats a mix of wet and dry food and is also crate trained.  He sleeps in his crate and is registered at the vets.  Axl is okay in the car and will bark at people to begin with but will settle.  He would be best without other dogs or cats in a home.  Ideally he would suit someone who can give him further training.  Axl is vaccinated.  For more information or to offer a new home please email info@help2rehome.com

Taking time out. Our beautiful mad wonderful Maple died this morning, devastated doesn’t cover what we’re feeling. Our hearts are broken. Vets said heart attack but she was just one and full of life. It doesn’t make sense, she zoomed into our lives and left whilst doing a zoomie. Hug your fur babies tight because you never know what’s going to happen… RIP our beautiful girl 💔

Some updates make us more happy than we can express….Moonie, a blind pittie boy facing death for space. Mom happened to see his post & it hurt her heart. Now after vet care, he has loving parents & a fur brother ♥️. His mom says he’s the biggest cuddle bug!!! He also claimed his spot on the new comfy sectional sofa!!! Moonie Moon Pie is loved.

Rightio we need all the paws in we can get. Vet had given our Snoops the once over and thinks he’s found very worrying things. Bloods, FNA and scan in the morning. Vet said if it’s what he thinks it is we’re “hellishly unlucky”. Humans are very quiet. #dogsoftwitter #dogsofx

🔫🔫 Can you count how many times he’s been shot? Take a look at Eric’s X-Rays and count the pellets. This is a complete disgrace. They are so close to his lungs. On top of that the abcess on his chest was very difficult to remove because it’s intertwined with muscles around the chest area. Whilst the vets removed as much as they could, they had to opt for a biopsy also because some of the cells looked ugly. He’s only 11 mths old and this has been his life so far. The life with his Galguero a complete misery, then given up saying he was useless. Useless? Who do think is useless? Honestly these hunters are shameless. Eric is in the vets tonight with drains in his chest and will come back tomorrow. So angry but not surprised!

From Duke’s Mom: Duke went peacefully, worn out from swimming so much at the pond this morning. He got as many bites of hamburger as he would eat, and with a final wag of his tail went to join Ole and Milo and Billycat and all the foster kittens that went before. 🧡

Coming back to Walnut 😍 We really want to push him for a home as he’s sooo sooooo ready. Walnut was exported from Ireland to Spain. He was then dropped off at a shelter in Murcia & leishmania positive. He’s been treated for that and we will retest soon. He’s a big strong boy, calm as a cucumber 🥒 and would suit any first time adopter or retiree that wants company, gentle strolls and off course the odd blow out in a big fenced area or garden. He’s absolutely wonderful 😍

My dog died tonight, suddenly & without warning. I’m so incredibly sad. My husband wrapped him in a blanket & I sat outside petting his little ears until Chris was ready to take him to the vet. Dogs are the best of pets & Gilbert was the best of dogs. I’ll miss him forever
