Today, my staff and I wrap up 12 amazing years serving our wonderful community and the City of Chicago. It has been a great run and we thank you for your partnership and engagement in moving our community forward in a positive way.
I’m signing off as your Alderman with a deep sense of pride for the work we have done together to improve our community and am incredibly grateful for the opportunity you gave me to serve the people and neighborhood I love.

I commend Mayor-elect Johnson on appointing Rich Guidice as his Chief of Staff and State Senator Cristina Pacione-Zayas as his Deputy Chief of Staff. They are two great additions to the new administration.
I know the people of Chicago will be served well by Rich Guidice as my Chief of Staff and Dr. Cristina Pacione-Zayas as my Deputy Chief of Staff when we arrive at City Hall.
I look forward to our work ahead as we lift up every corner of Chicago together.
