@5SAHLaw are thrilled to sponsor the Inaugural Festive Family Law Conference which @GemmaLindfield has been organising with Chris Bryden from @4KingsBenchWalk . The event will be held at the Grand Hotel, Eastbourne on 11 and 12 December 2025. Gemma and Chris had a vision of creating something different for the family law community. The title of the conference is: Opening Doors: An Advent Calendar of Legal Insights for Family Lawyers. Like opening a door on an Advent calendar, each session unveils a new topic from outside the world of family law — offering unexpected yet invaluable perspectives to enrich the work of family lawyers. Twelve legal insights. One festive journey.
The aim of the conference is to give busy family law practitioners a pause over the festive period, to learn from other legal disciplines as they relate to family law, indulge in wellbeing, give something back to the community and immerse themselves in a truly festive spectacular.

The 2025 Pro Bono Recognition List has been released.✨
The list shines a light on those who have completed 25 or more hours of pro bono work in the last year, plugging the gap time and time again.
This year, 617 barristers were recognised among the 4,780 lawyers named, a 30% increase in submissions from the Bar.
