👏Congratulations to Belgium🇧🇪 on the news its Federal Parliament voted in favour of ratifying the #HighSeasTreaty. This is a key national ratification milestone along the way to Belgium joining the #RaceForRatification in time for #UNOC3.
🌊 Belgium has taken an important step towards ratification of the #BBNJ Agreement with the approval of the law for ratification by the Federal Parliament. Protecting biodiversity in the high seas is a priority for our country. Belgium is a candidate to host the BBNJ Secretariat.
