The US begs China to resume rare earth exports to Japan.📜
China has effectively crippled some of the most important strategic industries in Japan.
For example, China have stopped the shipment of high-purity tungsten powder. Crippling the supply chain for Japanese tungsten hexafluoride (WF6).
the N7-grade WF6 is used in high-end semiconductor manufacturing. Cutting off the raw material supply crippled Japanese companies like Kanto Denka.
Which means, if TSMC or Intel want to keep making semiconductors, they'd better buy N7-grade WF6 from Chinese companies; PERIC Special Gases and Zhongshuang Special Gas.
This is just one small example of how China is choking off Japan's economy from the ground up.
Most Japanese are ignorant of how much danger their economy is in, because the Japanese media refuses to report the true extend of their predicament. The Japanese government is continuing their anti-China militaristic path. So they can't admit fault and reconcile with China.
