I will hard stop cheering for the Oilers if they hire Stan Bowman, I refuse to have any affiliation with a man who allowed a predator to ruin the life of Kyle Beach, and then aided him in continuing to have access to more potential victims. @JLJax12 make the right choice.

Hey @JLJax12 if you had even a shred of decency you wouldn’t even consider Bowman as an option. Absolutely no one wants this and the PR would be a nightmare. Be smart and look for other considerations for the job.

What Brad Aldrich allegedly did while with the Blackhawks was bad enough, but their management's failure to properly report him allowed him to go on & sexually assault a minor. To me, there's no coming back from that. Maybe not surprising, but the NHL's decision was wrong today.

I appreciate the many comments that this has elicited both for and against. The one thing I want to point out is that this is far from being "woke" or "cancel culture". This is about a man who chose to be complicit in covering up a sexual assault and allowing the preparator to continue on with his career and further assault other victims. This is something much, much more serious. If you can't see that, then I'm not sure what can make you see the difference. Will I continue to cheer on the Oilers, yeah, but I'd rather voice my concerns to the organization I cheer for to not choose to have a relationship with Bowman.
