Max Verstappen: "We were just a bit too slow every stint , on every type of tire. So then not much happens for me.
On these kinds of circuits, with fast sections and high tire wear, it is clear that we are still lacking pace. And it is also clear that we are still the fourth team behind Mercedes, Ferrari, and McLaren. Maybe things are going a little better than at the start of the season, but it is not yet what we want. Work in progress , let's say. Hopefully, we can catch up a bit more soon.
You're not going to close the gap with just adjustments to the setup, so we have to deliver performance . That's part of this season too; only then can you make a real leap."
