President Kagame also met with Cameroonian-French professional boxer Carlos Takam. This week, the Carlos Takam Foundation launched the Carlos Takam Boxing Academy in Kigali, with the goal of promoting and developing the sport of boxing in Africa. Carlos Takam also gifted the President with an original WBC World Champion belt as a tribute to Rwanda and the mission of the Foundation.
