Thanksgiving Day has come and gone. This time of year truly stinks in my humbled opinion. I wish for a "Juliet" who could join me for the rest of my days, traveling East, West, North and South. I miss the togetherness of two. #sad_days_a_coming #widower

Wasn’t planning to eat here today. The Fleetwagon has a mind of its own. Sausage, egg and cheese omelette with potatoes. Wheat toast buttered. Cold drink on the side. I have an extra fork. Join me, won’t you?

Greeted at the door. Regional Manager is in the house. Cook knows what I like. Cold drink in my hand. CheeseSteak and Hash Browns in the “ring”. Not the prettiest dish, but I am going to eat it anyway. @WaffleHouse_965

Hello Tuesday. Happy to be out and about. Breakfast: Corned Beef Hash and Eggs. Small amount of potatoes and wheat toast buttered. Chef saw me sneak into the back room. He wishes a photo of his morning masterpiece online. I cannot refuse his request. A dish to savor. @EUGColumbia

Hello Lizard’s Thicket!!! One of the few places open for the day. Hello Thursday. Happy Thanksgiving to all. Omelette with eggs, sausage, cheese, peppers and tomatoes. Side order: (small) portion of potatoes. Cold drink to go.

Hello Thursday. It’s Lizard’s Thicket time. Ordered the Flounder Platter with a small portion of potatoes and scrambled eggs. Wheat toast on the side, dark with heavy butter. Plate wanted recognition, I agree. BAM!!!

Doctor visit went well. Blood thinner check @ 2.6 ... perfect. Time to eat the All American Cheeseburger with home fried potatoes. For dinner, there will be chili with rice and vegetables. The high pitched sound from the kitchen tells me that a photo is to be taken. BOOM!!!

Banking for the week is done. Drove a half mile down the road to favorite eatery @EUGLexington. Ordered the Reuben Platter with home fried potatoes and a diet coke. Yelling from the kitchen, this plate demanded a photo op. Picture perfect ... Boom!!!
