Story behind the Spiderman mask:
Last week in Seattle, a fan randomly gifted Juan Soto the mask (and a Michael Jordan rookie card!)
"He just gave it to me," Soto said. "OK, I'll take it."
Carson Benge suggested using it for homers to switch up the Mets' mojo. So far, so good.
Elon Musk could give his entire net worth to the government and all it would cover is 13 months of interest payments on our national debt.
It could all go to Social Security and Social Security would be depleted by 2038 instead of 2034.
It can be considered tax revenue for 2026, and we would still have a .6 trillion dollar federal deficit and it would be right back to over 1.7 trillion next year.
The problem is not Elon Musk, it is the federal government.
If you combine the net worths of all the billionaires and one trillionaire (≈20 trillion) on earth and gave it to the US government you can only cover 6-7 years of the projected annual deficit.
